Ogres VS Goblins

Three great ogres, standing round a pit.
Filled with blazing lava, ringed by dirt and grit.
Roaring, belching, cackling, making thunderous sounds.
Protecting gold and jewels, piled up in mounds.
But as was foretold, the treasure was found.
By two small creatures, that came up from the ground.
With scaly claws, and pointy teeth.
Scheming eyes, and knives in sheaths.
They saw the treasure, in their piles.
For a golden sent goes on for miles.
Goblins were they, with a taste for treasure.
And greed uncountable, without measure.
They hatched a plan, those nasty fey.
They would have their gold, at the end of the day.
First they saw an ogre, with a stomach great and round.
They decided to use his mass against him, every single pound.
Quickly in, and quickly out.
They used their claws around about.
They slashed their nails, upon the great feet.
Making narrow slits, very deep and very neat.
The ogre yelped quite loudly, "Agh! Danger!" He said.
He tried to crush his attackers, tried to make them both dead.
Just in time they both leaped smoothly out of the way.
The ogres almost crushed them! They would surely pay.
They attacked the ogre, using knives.
They would get that gold, they'd risk their lives.
They pushed the ogre, after his feet were slashed.
He stumbled forward, the the goblins would be mashed.
But into the pit, the ogre did go.
The goblins had defeated their foe.
But twas not over, for there were still two ogres left.
They will need to beat the others to go on with the theft.
The mammoth monsters lunged, but the goblins dodged and dodged.
All the while stealing, from the place the ogres lodged.
The goblins leaped, and grabbed there foe's hair.
They steered the two ogres, making them leap into the air.
For the ogres both fell down, and followed their friend.
The pit consumed them, and they then met their end.
The goblins rejoiced, they had finally won!
The gold was all theirs! Every last ton!
The goblins walked out dancing, with their bags filled with jewels.
For as you now know, a goblin has no rules.

Um... well this is my first day as a member so... anyone reading this the art here is amazing! I love all the unique aliens and monsters! I have always liked the Devian art but I did not know that there was an actual website before a little while ago so... GO DEVIONART1
